Cette semaine, rendons un grand hommage Ć tous les coiffeurs en parcourant lāhistoire de la coiffure en France et en Europe. Autrefois profondĆ©ment liĆ©es au statut social et au patrimoine, les coupes de cheveux ont considĆ©rablement Ć©voluĆ© au fil du temps (parfois de maniĆØres trĆØs amusantes). Behind every masterpiece of "haute couture" lies a tour de force of "haute coiffure." Last year's World Cup winner was French; here's an interview featuring her incredible creation. This week, let's pay tribute to all hairdressers by exploring the history of hairdressing in France and Europe. Once deeply linked to social status and heritage, haircuts have evolved considerably over time (sometimes in very amusing ways). But the big question is: do our hairstyles still reveal something about us today, or have they become simply a matter of style?
