« René Goscinny était à la bande dessinée ce que la tour Eiffel est à Paris, ce que Balzac est au roman français, en un mot ce qu’Obélix est à Astérix. » (Le Monde, 1977). Le créateur génial d’Astérix, mais aussi du Petit Nicolas, de Lucky Luke et de bien d’autres est né à Paris il y a cent ans, le 14 août 1926. Cet anniversaire offre l’occasion de revisiter sa courte, mais prolifique carrière.
"René Goscinny was to comic books what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris, what Balzac is to the French novel—in a word, what Obelix is to Asterix" (Le Monde, 1977). The brilliant creator of Asterix—as well as Le Petit Nicolas, Lucky Luke, and many others—was born in Paris one hundred years ago, on August 14, 1926. This anniversary offers an opportunity to revisit his short yet prolific career.
