Avec les chaleurs extrêmes qui ont traversé l’Europe ces dernières semaines, la question de savoir si on doit s’équiper d’une climatisation ou pas revient sans cesse. Notamment pour ce journaliste croate qui ne semble pas convaincu. Voici un résumé de son article : L’installation du premier climatiseur sur l’île d’Ugljan dans les années 1990 a marqué la fin d’un mode de vie méditerranéen ancestral. L’air conditionné a remplacé les traditions ancestrales de gestion de la chaleur, modifiant les rythmes de vie et la culture locale. Cette transformation, bien que perçue comme positive par certains, a également conduit à une perte de la culture de la présence dans l’espace public et à une obsession croissante pour le sens et la santé mentale.
Selon vous, quels sont les avantages et les inconvénients de la climatisation ? Est-elle vraiment nécessaire ou pourrions-nous nous en passer ?
With the extreme heat that has swept across Europe in recent weeks, the question of whether or not to install air conditioning keeps coming up. One Croatian journalist, in particular, remains unconvinced. Here is a summary of his article: The installation of the first air conditioner on the island of Ugljan in the 1990s marked the end of an age-old Mediterranean way of life. Air conditioning replaced traditional methods of managing heat, altering daily rhythms and local culture.
